Features

Everything you need, nothing you don't

SlideFormat is purpose-built for professionals who need great presentations fast — without sacrificing quality or security.

Private by design

Your content stays yours. We keep your work private and never share it — you're always in control.

AI-enriched content

A high-reasoning AI pipeline plans, drafts, and composes every slide — sharper, more accurate content every time.

PowerPoint-perfect output

Real .pptx files with charts, tables, diagrams, speaker notes, and themes. Download, open, and edit in PowerPoint without friction.

One deliberate theme

Every deck ships in a single editorial theme that sets colors, typography, and layout — ask for a different look in the prompt and the AI rebuilds the deck's decoration to match.

Fast generation

From prompt to a finished deck in minutes — the AI plans, drafts, and composes each slide in one continuous run.

How it works

From idea to .pptx in three steps

01

Describe your presentation

Tell SlideFormat what you need — topic, audience, and depth. A high-reasoning AI plans the deck around your brief.

02

AI generates the content

The AI drafts structured slide content: headings, bullets, speaker notes, chart data, and layout choices — all in one pass.

03

Download a real .pptx

One click and your deck is a polished .pptx file, ready to open in PowerPoint or share with your team.

Capabilities

What the platform can do

SlideFormat is a full presentation pipeline — content, design, imagery, and export — running between your browser and a stateless AI edge. Here is what ships today.

Charts, tables & diagrams

Charts, tables, KPI grids, and timelines generated from your prompt and rendered as crisp images in the deck — presentation-ready on download, though they are pictures, not editable chart objects.

Inline editing

Edit text directly on the slide, then download — no AI re-run needed. Ask for a different look in the prompt and the whole deck's decoration is rebuilt to match.

Grounded in your documents

Drop in a PDF, Markdown, or text file. Extraction happens entirely in your browser, and the AI drafts from your material — with figures reused from the source.

Relevant imagery

Image search picks visuals relevant to your prompt and attaches a descriptive caption to every picture automatically — imagery that fits the content, ready to present.

Export everywhere

Download a native .pptx for PowerPoint, render the whole deck to PDF, or hand the .pptx to Google Slides and Keynote — both open it directly.

Pay as you go

Credits, not subscriptions

LLM tokens

Decks draw from their token bucket as the AI works — the number of slides one credit yields varies with the content.

3 free credits

Every new account starts free — no credit card required.

Credits never expire

Top up once, use them whenever. No monthly quota.

Usage-based cost

Each deck draws tokens as it's generated — short decks cost less, big decks cost more.

Security & privacy

Your business data stays yours — by architecture

Privacy in SlideFormat is not a policy promise; it is how the pipeline is built. There is no server that holds your slides.

Zero data retention

SlideFormat runs exclusively on zero-data-retention LLMs. Prompts and slide content are processed and discarded — never retained, logged, or trained on.

No business data use

Your content is never used to train AI models and never shared with third parties. With nothing retained, there is nothing to train on.

Decks stay in your browser

Your slides are created and stored right in your browser. On our side, only your account essentials are kept — your profile and payment records.

Every AI-authored fragment is sanitized before it renders, and hardened security headers ship on every page — enforced by guard tests in CI.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to generate a presentation?

Yes. You can open the editor and look around without one, but generating a deck needs a free account. Every new account starts with 3 free credits, and you can buy credit packs whenever you need more.

Where is my presentation stored?

In your browser. Your decks are stored locally on your device, not on our servers — we keep only account essentials, billing records, and deck metadata such as the title and slide count, never slide content. Clearing your browser data removes your decks permanently.

Is my content used to train AI?

No. Your prompt and slide content are processed to build your deck and then discarded — never retained, logged, or used to train models. SlideFormat also runs no advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits never expire and there are no subscriptions. Every new account starts with 3 free credits.

What does a presentation cost?

$1 buys 1 credit, and 1 credit equals 500,000 LLM tokens. A deck draws tokens as the AI works, so short decks cost less and larger decks cost more. Credit packs run from $5 to $100.

How long does it take to generate a deck?

A few minutes for a short deck. SlideFormat researches your topic and designs each slide in turn, so longer, research-heavy decks take longer — progress shows in the editor while it works.

Does it work with PowerPoint and Google Slides?

Yes. You download a native .pptx file that opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Apple Keynote, with editable text, charts, and tables — or export a PDF.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — within 30 days of a purchase you can get a refund for its unused credits. Duplicate charges, credits that never arrived, and generations that failed on our side are refunded in full. See the Refund Policy for details.

Can I edit the deck after generating it?

Yes. Edit the text directly on the slide, or describe the change you want in the prompt to regenerate a single slide or the whole deck. When it looks right, export a native .pptx or a PDF — the .pptx also opens directly in Google Slides and Keynote.
